The lawyer for the family of Paloma Gallardo, the young woman murdered alongside Josué in Florencio Varela, confirmed that they will request a new examination of Paloma's body to support the hypothesis they have regarding the case. He also referred to the route the young people would have taken before their tragic outcome, mentioning that, according to testimonies from neighbors, the path they took was considered alternative and little traveled.
In conversation with Radio Splendid, Anibal Osorio, the lawyer for Paloma's family, expressed that he has recently taken on the family's defense and they are carefully reviewing the evidence in the case file. According to him, they believe that Paloma and Josué were victims of a sexual assault followed by the young woman's death. In this regard, he emphasized the importance of conducting a new examination to clarify the facts and strengthen their position.
On the other hand, Osorio shared that he has contacted the lawyers representing Josué's family to coordinate joint work on this case. When asked about the opinion of Paloma's father, the lawyer mentioned that he holds the theory that the young people were victims of a sexual attack, emphasizing that the prosecutor in charge of the case does not rule out this possibility but claims not to have conclusive evidence in this regard.
